Cathy Teesdale is the lead photographer of Vivid Photography. Armed with over 16 years’ experience and the latest digital equipment, portable studio lighting and image-editing technology, she happily accepts commissions across the UK and wordwide.

When she comes to meet you prior to your booking/wedding, she will normally spend at least an hour getting a feel for your personalities and unique style, noting down exactly what you’d like, and establishing a warm rapport so that you both feel completely confident and relaxed with her on the day.

She will talk you through all the photogenic opportunities offered by each stage of your day, and demonstrate them with examples from previous wedding albums and books.

The meeting will also be a great opportunity for you to discuss and decide your photographic preferences (b&w, colour and spot-colour, informal/candid and formal/posed) and whether you’d like to construct your own album from loose prints of your favourites, or prefer your story to be presented as a traditional, glassine-interleaved leather album or uniquely-designed coffee-table-style printed book.

Taking detailed notes of the planned timing and storyboard of your day equips Cathy to be always in exactly the right place, at exactly the right time, and shooting fast and discreetly renders her near-invisible, allowing her to capture every spontaneous emotion, natural expression and magic moment.

She shoots an average of 2-3 frames a minute, or roughly 120-180 images an hour, then edits these down to present the very best 50-100 per hour of shooting as an online gallery from which you and your family and guests can choose and order optimised, touched-up and enlarged prints, with a satin
or gloss finish, and with or without white borders and mounts.

If you would prefer all your images to be professionally-designed and presented in a traditional album or bespoke printed wedding book, we will then tell the story of your day using all your chosen images, and email the draft pages for your approval before producing the finished artwork.
